The Household of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall are recruiting for a Diary Manager to join the Equerry Department.

 

The Household supports the official and charitable work of Their Royal Highnesses, and the Diary Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate content, correct representation and timely publication of all formats relating to the Current and Future Diaries of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

 

The Diary Manager is principle point of contact for Diary Liaison and De-Confliction.  Responsible for the timely processing of Programmes for Their Royal Highnesses’ official Engagements.

 

 Main duties will ensure knowledge transfer, appropriate delegation of responsibilities and tasks across both current and future diary portfolios, providing professional support across all areas of work within the Equerry’s Office and Wider Household.  The Diary Manager will work with The Equerry to lead a weekly coordination review and always ensure accuracy and coherence.

 

The Diary Manager will produce Day Cards, Weekly Sheets, Programmes, and Season Calendars, including proof reading and formatting checks; ensuring the Assistant Diary Manager receives the final versions of all engagement Programmes in sufficient time.

Applicants should have relevant work experience with a busy diary/programme, working to tight deadlines, ability to manage concurrent tasks, drafting correspondence and managing large volumes of paperwork with confidence and discretion.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent IT and keyboard skills, organisational skills, and the proven ability to plan ahead and confidence to work with a broad spectrum of people. Applicants should have knowledge of diversity issues and the diversity of communities in the United Kingdom, in the Commonwealth and worldwide.  The Diary Manager should have an interest in the work of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, keen attention to detail and proven ability to work calmly under pressure.
