The Household of The Prince and Princess of Wales supports the official and charitable work of The Prince and Princess.  This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communications Team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will be part of a small, dynamic and creative team working together to communicate the work of The Prince and Princess of Wales.  The successful candidate will lead on content creation for the social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook) of TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with the Digital Lead to create innovative and effective social media content of an exceptional standard, reaching a range of audiences.
  • Capturing and editing high quality imagery and video on location, to be used across different social media channels.
  • Keeping pace with digital trends and developing creative ideas to ensure content is effective and impactful.
  • Working with external partners to direct and produce collaborative content.
  • Supporting on multi-discipline communications plans for and the delivery of content on engagements, overseas tours and special projects.

  • Previous experience in content creation roles, including photography and videography.
  • Excellent proficiency with audiovisual equipment and editing software.
  • Proficiency in editing video content, sometimes working under tight deadlines.
  • Good project management skills, attention to detail as well as strong organisational skills and the ability to work proactively, flexibly and to deadlines.
  • Good awareness of the social media landscape and understanding of social media engagement and analytics.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • An interest in the work of TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 09.00am until 5.30pm (full-time) each week. Some flexibility may be required for work outside of these hours to capture content.

This role will predominantly be based at Kensington Palace, but there will be requirements to travel to other locations.
