The Chef de Partie will provide meals of a high standard for staff and support the Head Chef, or Chef in charge with catering for events as and when required.

The successful candidate will plan and prepare meals for staff, operating from a number of UK Residences as required. They will assist with the planning and preparation of meals for events, formal dinners, receptions and functions, and liaise with the Head Chef on menus and budgets.

Applicants must have demonstrable experience of volume catering, working in a professional kitchen, and a recognised qualification from a cookery school or college. Candidates must have a pride and passion for the industry, as well as a good understanding and working knowledge of organic food, or an interest to learn. Experience of menu planning and working to a time schedule is essential, as well as being able to demonstrate a flexible and pro-active approach and working well within a busy team environment.

A full, valid UK driving licence is required, and the successful candidate must have the ability to travel to and work from other residences across the UK. This role will involve evening and weekend working, on a rota basis.
