The Projects and Events Intern will be part of a fast moving and innovative team. The role will support a diverse range of work streams, working closely with other members of the A4S team. Key areas of focus will include:

  • supporting the development of content for communications and engagement activities
  • research and administrative support for A4S events, including high profile events
  • providing support around engagement activities

The role will also provide a variety of opportunities to develop new skills within a dynamic team environment. These will include technical, presentation, communication and project management skills.

This role affords opportunities to meet very senior representatives from the finance and business world. There will also be the chance to learn about what they are doing to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy.

You must have a proactive and flexible approach to your work. You will need good attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communications skills. You must be able to show plenty of initiative and to prioritize your own workload. You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience of working with data. You will have a university degree or comparable work experience.

Event experience is highly desirable, as is an understanding of business and finance. You must have an interest in sustainable business and understand its role in creating a sustainable economy.
