The A4S strategy includes scaling up our impact across the accounting and finance community. To support this, the focus of the Outreach and Events Manager role is to develop, plan and deliver a global engagement strategy. Key outcomes of the strategy will include greater integration, sharing and collaboration across our stakeholders and expanding our networks. Achievement of key outcomes will be through:

  • researching and identifying potential opportunities to engage with target regions, sectors and communities
  • building on team and stakeholder insights and experience
  • developing an integrated outreach and events plan
  • driving establishment of new networks and programmes
  • managing A4S resource and prioritizing key organizational objectives to scale up action

This role is crucial in inspiring a drive towards a sustainable economy.

You must be energetic, proactive, enthusiastic and flexible. You will be a strategic thinker and be able to prioritize your own workload. You will show initiative, have great attention to detail and work well under pressure.

Strong project management skills including extensive events management experience is essential. You will have the ability to create a structured, well-researched and coherent engagement strategy. You must have experience in shaping and delivering complex initiatives. You will have strong relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written. You must have a university degree or comparable work experience. You will need advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Previous line management experience would be helpful, as would an understanding of business and finance. You must be knowledgeable about sustainable business, and its role in creating a sustainable economy.
