The A4S CFO Leadership Network brings together a group of leading CFOs from large businesses that are seeking to embed management of environmental and social issues into business processes and strategy. The Network currently operates in Europe, Canada and the USA. Each region has a dedicated Project Manager who leads the running of projects and the overall management of the Network in that region. This role will includes providing project management for both the European Network and our Knowledge and Technical team.  Your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Developing strategic plans for the European Network, coordinating the assessment of progress against A4S and Network objectives, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of Network activities and operations.
  • Developing annual activity plans to meet the regions KPIs as agreed with the senior management team, including estimating resources and timescales.
  • Managing the day to day operations within the region including quarterly meetings, member commitments, outreach and engagement. Supporting the
  • Knowledge and Technical team in the development of clear project aims, objectives and scopes for regional and global projects.
  • Developing detailed project plans for technical output including estimating resources and timescales.
  • Coordinating progress of projects including development and delivery of content.

You will come into contact with a wide range of stakeholders in this role and you must be confident interacting at a very senior level and be at ease building professional working relationships.

The role will also provide a variety of opportunities to develop new skills within a dynamic team environment. These will include technical, operational, communication and project management skills.

You must have significant project and/or account management experience. You will need to be flexible and think and plan ahead to develop responses before project delivery is impacted. You must also understand interdependencies and their associated risks and opportunities, and be able to respond effectively to change. You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Educated to degree level, you must have a proactive approach to your work and excellent attention to detail. You should be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, and be able to build strong relationships with a wide range of individuals, globally.
