  • Proactively engage with and develop contacts with key journalists and editors, and manage the contact database to ensure relevant content is circulated as appropriate

  • Liaise with the team including the Royal Household’s press office to assist with the smooth running and reporting of royal events
  • Manage the collection and accurate recording of KPIs and ensure timely delivery of activity reports and updates to the Operations Manager, Board of Trustees and funders

This fixed term role will play a key part in helping to grow the profile of the Fund and communicating its position as a leading rural charity. The position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with significant responsibility while being part of a busy and supportive small team. We are looking for someone with excellent written and oral communication skills including copywriting and proofreading, who can build relationships with journalists and other stakeholders in a mature, professional, and credible manner. An interest in the countryside and rural issues is desirable, as is some experience of marketing and communications.
