Established by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2010, the Fund works to improve the prospects of family farm businesses and the quality of rural life. With farming under intense pressure, the Fund is leading the sector to assist smaller farms through its unique programme of workshops and one to one support.

We are looking for a proactive programme manager to drive the charity’s highly successful Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme, which currently engages 300 farm businesses annually in 15 areas across the UK, and to manage all aspects of our work in preparing farms for transition. This includes assisting with developing the Fund’s strategic approach, research and line managing the Project Officer.

The successful candidate will oversee all tendering, contract negotiation and project budgeting for The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme, and be responsible for managing the national steering group. They will develop effective working relationships with all national and regional programme delivery partners, and help the fundraising team with sponsors and opportunities for PFRP funding, as well as preparing briefings and material as required. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in project management, including setting milestones and KPIs, and an understanding of farming and agricultural policy.

You will be enthusiastic, empathetic with excellent organisational and planning skills, a good communicator, a great team player and of course share our passion for the countryside.
