The Household of The Prince and Princess of Wales supports the official and charitable work of The Prince and Princess. 

As a Deputy Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, administrative and secretarial support to the team.  You will ensure that all general office duties are completed to the highest standard and work is organised to support TRH.

You will make sure that all meetings are arranged, necessary paperwork is prepared and visitors are welcomed and escorted as appropriate.

You will assist with internal and external enquiries and will draft appropriate correspondence in response. 

You will have previous experience in working in a similar role and should be able to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills.  You should have excellent IT skills, the ability to take dictation on to screen and have an accurate typing speed of 65wpm.

You will have a professional verbal and written communication style, with the ability to liaise easily with a wide range of individuals, including very senior.  

You will have the ability to remain calm work under pressure and display a flexible pro-active approach.

You will be able to maintain confidentiality at all times and work with tact and discretion.

A clean UK driving licence and an interest in the work of TRH is desirable.  

LOCATION

The role is predominantly based at Kensington Palace, however there will be the requirement to work across other Royal Households.

HOURS OF WORK

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Friday, and such other hours that are necessary for the proper fulfilment of duties, or to meet unexpected or urgent demands.
