Head Gardener

The Royal Garden at Highgrove was created by the Prince of Wales over forty years ago. The unique flora and fauna are managed in harmony with nature to reflect The Prince's commitment to organic and sustainable principles.

The Head Gardener will lead and manage a committed team, to ensure that the garden is maintained to the highest possible standards.

The successful candidate for this exciting position will have exceptional skills and experience. They will be required to maintain the philosophy and continue the sustainable development of the gardens as techniques progress. They will be passionate about horticulture and organic practices and thrive in a fast paced, changing environment.  They will maintain and develop the organic status of the grounds, working to improve the garden and act as a source of knowledge.

Candidates must have an accredited Horticultural qualification, proven management experience, preferably working in both a private and public garden, and hold a full UK driving licence.
