The Household is offering a rewarding opportunity for a Finance Administrator to assist the Finance team for Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

This 12 month fixed term, junior position is well suited to an enthusiastic individual looking to begin their financial career in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Based within the Finance team at Clarence House, the successful candidate will be responsible for essential tasks which underpin the work of the finance team and ultimately ensures Their Royal Highnesses are able to carry out their roles effectively.

The main duties will include maintaining the purchase and sales ledger, invoice processing and reconciliations. The role will involve responding to queries and providing assistance to colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders. There will also be opportunities to be involved in projects and other ad hoc tasks as required by senior members of the team.

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role, as is a flexible and proactive approach to your work and a practical approach to problem-solving.  Candidates must possess exceptional IT skills and have an aptitude for working with figures. Excellent communication skills are also essential and the ability to prioritise your own work and plan ahead. Experience within a finance environment is not essential.
